Cassy Kojak is a graduate student in the College of Education from Long Beach, CA. She is working towards becoming a high school social science teacher. Cassy became the SI leader for ECON 300: Fundamentals of Economics because she enjoys helping students understand difficult concepts. She is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm for economics and is hoping to gain valuable experience for her future teaching career. In her spare time, she likes to take her dog, Charlie, to Rosie’s Dog Beach. She also enjoys going to see live local music.

Karen Gonzalez is an economics major with a GIS minor from Tustin, CA. She became an SI leader for Principles of Economics (ECON 101) to share her passion for economics and to help students understand economic principles in an interesting and engaging way. Karen’s career goal is to work as a GIS analyst, focusing on issues relating to environmental economics.
