Format Workshop for All Disciplines

In conjunction with Graduate Studies Resource Center, there will be two formatting workshops during Fall 2018 semester featuring a presentation of university format rules for graduate level manuscripts. Vivian Reed, the thesis evaluator, will review the electronic submission process  and the manuscript format requirements for all departments on campus.

Attention Engineering Students!

Vivian Reed, the thesis evaluator, will be on hand to talk about formatting rules required for theses and project reports written by Engineering students as well as the online submission process at an upcoming workshop sponsored by the College of Engineering Writing and Communication Resource Center. The WCRC staff will be presenting information on a variety of topics during this and other workshops, but if you have any questions about formatting or submitting your paper, be sure to attend the one on "Revising Strategies."

The Library-sponsored Research & Writing Workshops calendar provides the most up-to-date listings for workshops on citation software and graduate workshops. 

Department or college specific seminars can be set up by departmental graduate advisors or committee chairs in cooperation with the Thesis and Dissertation Office. Format seminars for manuscript preparation can be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Check with your departmental graduate advisor or committee chair for date, time, and location. If no seminar has been scheduled, or if a time conflict occurs, please contact the Thesis and Dissertation Office for assistance or questions concerning the preparation of your thesis, project report or dissertation.
