Accessibility

Accessibility Information

If you have any questions or would like to request an accommodation, please contact our box office at Theatre-BoxOffice@csulb.edu.

Wheelchair Seating

All CSULB Theatre Arts Department venues are wheelchair-accessible. Advance notice of the need for wheelchair-accessible seating is not required, but is helpful and may expedite your seating on the evening of the performance.

Mobility Devices

Patrons are welcome to use any type of mobility device, including canes and walkers. We ask that these devices remain out of the aisles and walkways, and are happy to relocate walkers and return them at the end of the show.

Service Animals

We are more than happy to accommodate service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, that are trained to perform tasks related to a patron's disability. No other animals are permitted in the theatre.

Binoculars/Magnifiers

Magnifiers are available at the box office for all performances. Binoculars are available at the box office for performances in the University Theatre. Both binoculars and magnifiers can be checked out, free of charge, on a first-come, first-serve basis by leaving a driver's license or other form of ID with the box office. ID will be returned upon the return of the binoculars or magnifier after the performance.

American Sign Language Interpretation

The CSULB Theatre Arts Department can offer one ASL-interpreted performance of each production. Patrons interested in an ASL-interpreted performance can reach out to Theatre Arts department coordinator Katie Speer.
