Assistive Technology

The Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) Center is dedicated to supporting students with disabilities utilizing assistive technology as part of their BMAC accommodations. The AIM Center, located in the Academic Services building (AS-116), is a computer lab equipped with adaptive/assistive technology and provides training on assistive devices and equipment, notetaking software, screen magnification, screen readers, speech recognition, and text-to-speech software.

Assistive technology (AT) is any item, piece of equipment, software program or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of persons with disabilities.
