User Conduct and Comments

The university maintains various social media accounts to support its mission and goals. The university may delete, hide, or block user content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of the university or other organizations, or any user content that promotes third-party events, products, or services unrelated to the university. The university may also report to the respective social media platform any user content believed to be inconsistent with that platform’s community standards, which could result in user content being assessed and removed by the platform. For reference, published community standards are available for FacebookInstagramXLinkedIn, and YouTube.

University-generated Content

To prevent miscommunication or confusion, the university may, in limited instances, remove its own posted content from social accounts if and when a post contains errors, promotes an event or program that has since been canceled, or relates to a campus emergency that has since been resolved.
