As we prepare to welcome more members of The Beach community back to campus later this month, here is some additional information about this important next chapter in our response to the pandemic.

Throughout these challenging months, I have been intentionally communicating CSULB’s unwavering and steadfast commitment to diversity and equity for every member of our Community: students, staff, faculty, alumni and community partners.

In this OneBeach video, CSULB President Jane Close Conoley discusses how scholarship at Cal State Long Beach has forged on despite the challenges of a global pandemic.

I am disappointed and dismayed by the administration’s decision to reject new applications for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This action is clearly contrary to the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling reinstating DACA, and causes additional confusion, frustration and anxiety among Dreamers and their families.
