Recuerdos: A Mini Ofrenda Workshop with Featured Artist Jacqueline Valenzuela

Build your own mini altars to honor a loved one for Día de los Muertos! We welcome you to a mini ofrenda workshop facilitated by Featured Artist Jacqueline Valenzuela. You are welcome to bring small special objects to include, but rest assured that we will also offer plenty of supplies to create your mini ofrenda. 

This program is inspired by our Fall exhibition, Jacqueline Valenzuela: In Practice of Return 

*If you would like to include a photo for your altar, you can bring a physical photo or print-out with you, or you can email a photo to cristal.guzman@csulb.edu as late as the day before the workshop, and we will have a printout ready for you. Please include your full name in the body of the email.
