The Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum relies on support from grants, individual gifts, and contributions to serve students, the campus, and the public.  As a nonprofit organization, all program funds are raised by the Museum. The organization is able to continue facilitating hands-on art education activities, public and private art tours and educational events for all ages because of its supporters.

Consider giving a gift that empowers the museum to connect people with contemporary art today.  Your gifts ensure that the Museum's significant exhibitions, robust community engagement, and enriching educational opportunities remain impactful for the next generation of educators, artists, and arts professionals for years to come.

Docent Council and Volunteer Opportunities

The Museum's Docent Council provides key support to the museum and its education programs. Docents and volunteers alike contribute invaluable assistance in facilitation of the Plugged-In Classroom Connections Outreach Program for elementary school students and the Outdoor Sculpture Collection and CSULB public art tour program. The Docent Council reinforces the museum’s commitment to providing all visitors—students, seniors, adults, and children—with a positive experience and an opportunity to engage with contemporary art on a variety of levels.

To learn more about the volunteering or joining the Docent Council, contact Curator of Education Christina Alegria at
