Political analyst says newcomer candidate for governor could be advantage

Matt Lesenyie, an assistant professor of political science at Cal State Long Beach, spoke with the Orange County Register about the San Jose mayor’s recent decision to enter the race for California’s next governor. Lesenyie said the mayor’s age and relative status as a political “newcomer” could work to his advantage.
