Mylah Cunningham is a Psychology Major from Orange County, CA. She became an SI leader because she wanted to help students succeed in their classes and hopefully see them learn to love Psychology as much as she does. She aspires to become a counseling psychologist to extend her passion for helping others. In her free time, she loves to draw and paint, read, and play guitar.
Nora Kolsky
Major: Psychology
Nora is a Psychology major from Modesto, California. She became an SI leader because she enjoys helping others reach their personal and academic goals. Outside of school, she practices Taekwondo, and enjoys sketching, listening to music, and going on adventures with friends.
Madison Roach
Major: Psychological Research
Madison is a first- year master's student in the Psychological Research program. She became an SI leader to engage with undergraduate students and help facilitate their discussion in her favorite subject, psychobiology. Her ultimate career goal is to pursue a PhD in behavioral neuroscience and eventually become a professor. Outside of school, she also enjoys listening to music and reading.
Makena Duarte
Major: Psychology
Makena is a 3rd-year Psychology major with a minor in Sociology and Women Gender Sexuality Studies. She became an SI leader to help students gain the confidence to succeed even when they believe the task is too difficult. She wishes to support students in their learning journey and help them find joy in acquiring new knowledge. Her ultimate goal is to become a social worker specializing with children and families. She enjoys watching tv shows, going on picnics, hiking, and swimming.
Lily Hinds
Major: Psychology
Lily is a Psychology major from San Luis Obispo, California, who hopes to work at a private practice in the future. She understands that psychology can involve challenging coursework, and as an SI Leader, she is eager to support students in their understanding of the material. In her free time, Lily enjoys horseback riding, shopping, and spending time with friends.
Jasmine Manuel
Major: Psychology
Jasmine is a Psychology major from Lakewood, CA. She became an SI Leader because of her firsthand experience with the program as a student and hopes to support and empower students to succeed! She also strives to cultivate an environment where students can bond and form positive relationships with one another. Jasmine is a big mental health advocate and ultimately aspires to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In her free time, she likes to read, bake, watch movies, and try new food!
Ashley Perry
Major: Psychology
Ashley is a Psychology major with a minor in Nutrition from Thousand Oaks, CA. She became an SI Leader because she understands the challenges students face when learning complex concepts and is passionate about helping others build confidence in their abilities. Through her experience as an SI Leader, Ashley hopes to further develop the skills and knowledge that will support her future goal of becoming a therapist.
