CSULB Shark Lab director Chris Lowe told the LA Times that an adult great white shark seen off Huntington Beach may have been hunting elephant seals. He explained the overall rise in shark sightings off Southern California is due to juvenile sharks moving north from Baja as ocean temperatures shift.
