FAQ
The MATI program is designed to be completed full-time in two academic years, with students typically taking 9 units in each of four semesters. Students may enroll part-time if needed, which will extend the time required to complete the degree.
For students entering in Fall 2027 and completing the program in four semesters, estimated tuition and mandatory campus fees are $22,492 for California residents and $40,960 for non-California residents. International students classified as nonresidents for tuition purposes have the same estimated tuition and fee total of $40,960, in addition to required health insurance.
These figures are estimates and may change as CSULB campus fees are updated. See the Tuition and Fees section above for semester-by-semester estimates and information about how these costs were calculated.
