The Association of Emeriti and Retired Faculty/Staff of California State University, Long Beach, allows us to remain connected and updated about the University. Once each semester we gather at a luncheon to learn about the current programs and projects at CSULB and to enjoy the company of our University community.
On November 1, 2019, our Vice President of University Relations and Development, Michele Cesca, will present a campus update. If you have been on or near campus recently you no doubt noticed several capital improvements underway as well as continued infrastructure updates. You also may have heard about the campus long-term strategic planning initiative, Beach 2030. While the future is in many ways an open question, we can be certain that the next decade will bring the kind of change that will require adaptation and reinvention. We will learn about the many wonderful programs and initiatives that are leading CSULB toward truly innovative and transformative education experiences.
