Director of Dance Medicine, Miami City Ballet

Dr. Kathleen Bower is a physical therapist, Director of Dance Medicine for the Miami City Ballet, and host of The Dance Docs podcast. She is a proud CSULB alum who earned her BA in Dance Science in 2008, and went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Science in 2011. For over a decade Kathleen has been treating, educating and guiding dancers and practitioners through a holistic approach to optimize performance and prevent the “fit but unhealthy” athlete. Her years of experience in the rehab and movement platforms have helped her excel in treating the whole dancer with complex injuries.
