Chief of Staff, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

Richard Garcia is Chief of Staff at the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC). In his role, he works with the USHCC team by providing support on a broad scope of areas, including advocacy, external affairs, and administration. Previously, he has led groups to promote international relations and global citizenship, as well as expanding opportunities for leaders in underrepresented communities to participate in civic engagement. He has also engaged directly with lawmakers in Sacramento, California and Washington, D.C., as a student advocate for increased accessibility for higher education for over 35,000 students from his campus, and nearly 500,000 students from the California State University system, and now in his current role on behalf of Hispanic and minority-owned small business in Washington, D.C.
