Connor Young
Major: Nursing
Connor is a 2nd-year pre-nursing major here at CSULB. He plans to enter the nursing program here at the Beach and become a pediatric nurse at a children's hospital in the near future. He became an SI leader to assist students understand difficult concepts and build their confidence in themselves and their knowledge. In his spare time, he loves to watch movies and go on runs.
Audrey Yoshimura
Major: Health Science, Community Health Education Option
Audrey is a Health Science major at CSULB. She became an SI leader because she understands the challenges that come with being a college student, she hopes to help other students by being a supportive and encouraging peer leader. In her free time, she is an avid reader, crafter, and occasionally visits the Rec Center to play basketball!
Genine Tugonon
Major: Kinesiology
Genine is a Kinesiology major with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Her career goal is to become a physical therapist. She became an SI Leader, because she wants to help students become more confident in their learning abilities and study habits.
Caitlin Arellano
Major: Nursing
Caitin is a nursing major from Long Beach, CA. She became a SI leader because Caitlin understands that Anatomy is an incredibly difficult course, and she aspires to see students succeed while having fun! Caitlin ultimately hopes to become a critical care nurse. In her spare time, she adores reading, spending time with her friends, and playing with her dog, Stuart!
Lily Hinds
Major: Psychology
Lily is a Psychology major from San Luis Obispo, California, who hopes to work at a private practice in the future. She understands that psychology can involve challenging coursework, and as an SI Leader, she is eager to support students in their understanding of the material. In her free time, Lily enjoys horseback riding, shopping, and spending time with friends.
Matilda Engelson
Major: Biochemistry
Matilda is a Biochemistry major from Seattle, WA. She hopes to pursue medical school after undergrad and understands that a good foundation in chemistry is important to succeed in any scientific field. She hopes to pass on her love for chemistry and good study habits to her SI class. In her free time, she enjoys running and catching late-night movies.
