Service Learning Requirements
Fieldwork opportunities are built in the Track I program. Students will have first-hand opportunities to see the reality of today's classroom. Students earn 120 hours of Service-Learning hours by participation in the SERVE (Service Experience for Revitalizing Education) program.
SERVE provides orientation and training for Service-Learning hours and school placements. To begin Service-Learning hours, students must have a 2.0 grade-point average, current TB and Livescan clearance, and be available for either 2 two-hour time blocks or 1 four-hour time block during public school hours over a 10 week period during the semester.
