Professor states the importance of stable housing for student success

Rashida Crutchfield, a professor in the School of Social Work and executive director for the Center for Equitable Higher Education at Cal State Long Beach, was interviewed by The Hechinger Report for a story highlighting a new approach to supporting students experiencing homelessness. Crutchfield noted that while it’s clear students do better when they have stable housing, each student’s support needs are unique.
