The Student Affairs Development Conference is designed to bring our CSULB Student Affairs community together for a day of growth, collaboration, and forward-thinking conversation. As we navigate change at The Beach, this event will offer opportunities to share ideas, strengthen connections, and explore strategies that help us adapt and thrive in an evolving higher education landscape.
Join us on January 7, 2026, for a series of engaging sessions, inspiring speakers, and meaningful discussions focused on how we can continue supporting students and one another through times of change.

All general and breakout sessions are in the College of Business.
Begin the day with conference check-in on the north side of the College of Business, followed by breakfast burritos, pastries, and fresh coffee while connecting with colleagues and getting settled for the day ahead.
Vice President Lesen officially opens the conference, setting the tone for a day focused on growth, adaptability, and navigating change together at The Beach. Followed by our Keynote speaker, President Jones.

Behind the Scenes: How our CARES Committee Coordinates Crisis Response and Student Support | Student Support

Navigating Leadership According to the Way of the Samurai | Professional Development
