New Regulations Protect White Sharks and People

State of California regulations recently passed to protect great white sharks will also protect people, according to Professor Chris Lowe who was interviewed by The Orange County Register. The new regulations will deter active fishing for white sharks and also reduce hazardous fishing gear, like wire line and large hooks, which can be hazardous to swimmers in nearshore waters.
