Study Reveals Low Pay and Poor Working Conditions for Nail Salon Workers

Preeti Sharma, an assistant professor of American studies at Cal State Long Beach, appeared on ABC Los Angeles to discuss a new report on the pay and working conditions of manicurists.  Dr. Preeti said the study was conducted to identify gaps in the research as well as identify policy needs of the sector to address inequities.
