CSULB professor's class is part of tribute to 'The Golden Girls'

Maria Carpiac, professor and director of the Department of Gerontology at Cal State Long Beach, and her students made a brief appearance in an ABC hour-long special celebrating the 40th anniversary of "The Golden Girls." Carpiac teaches a course that uses the sitcom to spark discussion about serious topics through humor. The CSULB class cameo appears at the 36:30 mark of the program.
