School of Engineering Hosts Conference to Increase the Number of Women in Engineering

Cal State Long Beach Dean of the College of Engineering, Jinny Rhee, and mechanical engineering student Stephanie Turcios spoke with Spectrum News1 during the 2023 Beach Women in Engineering Conference on the university campus. Dean Rhee hopes to encourage more women to enroll in engineering programs where they now make up only about 20% of the field.
