Finance Expert Provides Insight into Recent Bank Defaults

Laura Gonzalez, associate professor of finance, appeared on NBC Los Angeles on two occasions (1 and 2) to talk about the recent bank defaults and the impact it could have on depositors. Professor Gonzalez told listeners their money was safe when insured by the FDIC and less than $250,000. She also encouraged depositors to use multiple banks when exceeding the maximum insured amount.
