Homecoming offers something for everyone at the Pyramid
Alumni, students, faculty and staff are welcome to the Walter Pyramid for Cal State Long Beach’s Homecoming 2019.
This year’s celebration features a basketball doubleheader with the Long Beach State women’s team playing Westcliff University at 1 p.m. Long Beach State men’s team will take on University of San Diego at 3:30 p.m. Doors open at noon.
For alumni, this is an opportunity to reconnect with former classmates. Each college -- Art, Business, Education, Engineering, Health & Human Services, Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences & Mathematics -- will be represented on the concourse inside the Pyramid.
Former students also can look forward to a special Best of the Beach Alumni Showcase, which will take place during game breaks and at halftime.
If student families or alumni want to take a look around campus, Fraternity and Sorority Life Family will be offering tours before the games. Alumni can see what’s new on campus, and students’ family members and others can explore what the school has to offer.
Family-friendly activities sponsored by Associated Students, Inc. will take place inside the Pyramid. Attendees are welcome to enjoy food from Naples Rib Company.
A ticket package option is now on sale. It will include lunch from Naples Rib Company and admission to both games. Ticket sales close November 1.
Game-only tickets will be available on October 21.
