Political science assistant professor Matt Lesenyie provides insight into the steps necessary to make the upcoming gubernatorial race in California competitive. Dr. Lesenyie suggests in an LA Times article that Republicans need to rally around a single candidate that appeals to a broad section of the public to have a chance to unseat the current governor.
