CSULB Professor Comments on Fatal Shark Attack

Shark Lab director, Dr. Chris Lowe, provides news media with information and expertise on white sharks after a surfer was attacked in Morro Bay, Calif. While the story is tragic, Dr. Lowe points out how infrequent these types of attacks take place. He also says there may be more white sharks in the area due to the southern expansion of elephant seals, a natural prey species.
