CSULB Economics Chair Comments on Supply Chain Issues

A surge in imports along with a lack of shipping containers, have contributed to excessive strain on the supply chain according to a story in The Washington Post featuring Seiji Steimetz, chair of the economics department at CSULB. Dr. Steimetz commented that people were spending more on goods than services during the pandemic resulting in an increase of imports.
