In December 2025, the CSU Chancellor’s Office announced the inaugural Trustee Wenda Fong & Mr. Daniel Fetterly Staff Award, a new CSU Board of Trustees recognition program celebrating the extraordinary contributions of CSU staff.
The Trustee Wenda Fong & Mr. Daniel Fetterly Staff Award application process is now open.
Award Highlights:
- Three individual awards of $25,000 each
- One team award of $25,000 shared among up to five members
- Honorees will be recognized at the May 2026 CSU Board of Trustees meeting

The categories for this award are intentionally broad, designed to uplift the many ways our staff shape our campus community and advance the mission of the CSU. I encourage staff who meet the eligibility and award criteria to apply by submitting their application materials by 5:00 p.m. PST on January 30, 2026.
