Computational Fluid Structure Lab

The Computational Fluid Structure Lab (CFSL) conducts computational and theoretical research in fluid dynamics and fluid–structure interaction (FSI), with applications to smart and adaptive propulsion systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), morphing wings, biomedical devices, and energy conversion systems.

Our research combines Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), aeroelasticity, and experimental methods to investigate flow behavior, structural response, stability, and performance in complex fluid–structure systems. Current efforts particularly focus on morphing-wing technologies and adaptive aerospace systems designed to improve aerodynamic efficiency and performance across a wide range of operating conditions.

Our goal is to develop efficient, adaptive, and next-generation engineering systems through integrated computational approaches.
