How Sponsorship Works

Sponsors select one primary event for event-specific support and recognition: the Investiture Ceremony, Gala featuring Distinguished Alumni Awards, Faculty and Staff Lunch, Global Fest @ The Beach, or VIP Reception. Benefits vary by level and may include Gala seating, premium Investiture Ceremony seating, VIP access, podium recognition, program recognition, and title rights. Event selection is subject to availability and will be confirmed with the university. 

Please identify the event you wish to sponsor when confirming your sponsorship. The university will coordinate the recognition details and confirm availability. 

Individual seats for the Gala featuring Distinguished Alumni Awards are sold separately. 

Benefits may not be combined, pooled, transferred, or accumulated across multiple purchases to create or replicate the benefits of a higher sponsorship level. Each purchase receives only the benefits listed for its selected level or individual event opportunity. 

Event-Specific Benefits

Sponsors who select the Investiture Ceremony receive the common benefits associated with their sponsorship level, together with event-specific recognition coordinated for the ceremony. Visibility may include recognition on ceremony signage, stage or screen graphics, the event website, promotional flyers, digital invitations, and other ceremony communications.

Investiture recognition may also include podium acknowledgment, recognition in the ceremony program and printed materials, and sponsor identification in guest-facing event information. Premium ceremony seating remains available according to the selected sponsorship level.

Possible branded items may include ceremony programs, guest materials, keepsakes, or other approved items connected to the Investiture experience. All branding is subject to university approval and event design. 

Sponsors who select the Gala featuring Distinguished Alumni Awards receive the common benefits associated with their sponsorship level, together with event-specific recognition coordinated for the Gala. Visibility may include recognition on Gala signage, table cards, menus, the event website, promotional flyers, digital invitations, social media, and other Gala communications.

Gala recognition may also include podium acknowledgment, recognition in the printed program, sponsor identification in guest materials, and event title rights when included at the selected sponsorship level. Gala tables or seats and VIP Reception access remain available according to the selected sponsorship level.

Possible branded items may include table decor, menus, place cards, guest gifts, take-home materials, or other approved items connected to the Gala featuring Distinguished Alumni Awards.  

All branding is subject to university approval and event design. 

Sponsors who select Global Fest receive the common benefits associated with their sponsorship level, together with event-specific visibility and activation coordinated for Global Fest @ The Beach. The university will confirm the available recognition inventory with the sponsor.

Global Fest visibility may include recognition on the stage banner, VIP or garden banner, sponsorship board, Global Fest website, promotional flyers, event program, passport booklet, or branded giveaway tote bag.

Global Fest activation may include a vendor table area, recognition at the Kickoff Concert or other selected Global Fest events, rotating advertising on campus digital display monitors, and VIP tent hospitality when available at the selected sponsorship level. 

Global Fest communications may include recognition in CSULB Alumni and campus emails, social media posts, and other event communications. The frequency and reach of communications will be confirmed based on the sponsorship level and available inventory. 

Sponsors who select the Faculty and Staff Lunch receive the common benefits associated with their sponsorship level, together with event-specific recognition coordinated for the lunch.

Visibility may include recognition on event signage, welcome materials, promotional flyers, digital invitations, campus communications, and other lunch communications.

Lunch recognition may also include podium or welcome remarks, recognition in the printed agenda or program, sponsor identification in attendee materials, and event naming rights when included at the selected sponsorship level.  

Possible branded items may include table materials, meal cards, staff gifts, educational materials, or other approved items connected to the lunch experience. All branding is subject to university approval and event design.

Sponsors who select the VIP Reception receive the common benefits associated with their sponsorship level, together with event-specific recognition coordinated for the reception.  

Visibility may include recognition on reception signage, welcome materials, promotional flyers, digital invitations, the event website, social media, and other reception communications. 

Reception recognition may also include podium or welcome acknowledgment, recognition in the printed program or guest materials, sponsor identification at the entrance or hospitality areas, and event title rights when included at the selected sponsorship level. 

Possible branded items may include welcome gifts, name badges, table materials, step-and-repeat or photo backdrop elements, or other approved items connected to the VIP experience. All branding is subject to university approval and event design.
