Rising with the Tide: A New Wave of Student Success at The Beach 

President Loren J. Blanchard and Provost Karyn Scissum Gunn will share their vision for the upcoming academic year at the 2026 Convocation. 

The faculty and staff event will be held on Friday, August 21 from 9 - 11:00 a.m. at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. The event will be livestreamed and recorded for later viewing.

CSULB faculty and staff are encouraged to arrive early to connect with colleagues, take photos, and enjoy a continental breakfast from 8 - 8:45 a.m. in the Dance Courtyard.
