Shirley Feldmann-Jensen

Shirley Feldmann-Jensen, Ph.D., is program coordinator and lecturer for the Master of Science in Emergency Services Administration program at Cal State Long Beach.

Her scholarship and professional practice focus on the intersection of disaster risk management, human health, and public-policy governance of emergency services. She teaches courses such as Policy Formulation and Implementation for the Emergency Services, Leadership Across the Megacommunity, and Strategic Planning & Integrative Practices, and she leads applied-research thesis work in emergency services.

She holds a Doctor of Policy, Planning and Development from the University of Southern California, a Graduate Certificate in Health Emergencies in Large Populations from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Master of Public Health from Cal State Long Beach.
