Published May 10, 2024

California State University, Long Beach is excited to announce the return of the President and Provost's Leadership Fellows Program, a transformative leadership program to develop the next generation of university leaders, respond to critical issues in higher education, and advance CSULB's strategic priorities and goals. Applications will be available August 23, 2024, with a deadline of September 9, 2024.

Leadership Fellows is a two-year, cohort-based program that offers mid-career CSULB faculty and staff opportunities to enhance leadership skills and self-awareness for effectively leading diverse groups. Working collaboratively, Fellows will cultivate a deep understanding of equity principles to advocate for marginalized groups and learn from campus and national experts about critical issues facing CSULB and higher education.

Eligible applicants include faculty members at the Associate or Full Professor level or Administrator MPP (Level I-III). Interviews will occur in mid-September, and the first seminar is scheduled for Friday, October 4, 2024.

Interested individuals are invited to attend an Information Session on August 28, 2024, at noon in the President's Conference Room (Brotman Hall, Suite 302).

Fellows must attend seminars twice a month in a hybrid format during the first year. In the second year, Fellows are awarded a stipend to implement leadership projects.
