Scholarships

Numerous scholarships are offered by industry organizations for students enrolled in programs provided by the Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT). These organizations recognize the need for specialized training and education in this industry.

Available Scholarships

Richard Hollingsworth Professional Development Scholarship
This scholarship honors Richard Hollingsworth, a founding member of the CITT Policy & Steering Committee and passionate advocate for transportation education. It supports professional development for outstanding students with demonstrated financial need.

Los Angeles Transportation Club (LATC)
Established by the Los Angeles Transportation Club to help students pursue careers in intermodal freight transportation. Supports education and research for students in logistics, transportation, business, economics, engineering, policy, planning, and related disciplines.

Containerization and Intermodal Institute (CII)
CII offers scholarships starting at $1,000 to promising students in logistics or transportation. Scholarships are presented during the Connie Awards to honor those who make outstanding contributions to the intermodal industry.

Port of Long Beach
The Port of Long Beach is deeply committed to workforce development and awards annual scholarships to students enrolled in CITT-related programs. Applicants are assessed based on academic persistence, alignment with career goals in trade and transportation, financial need, and demonstrated commitment to community or industry engagement.
