Electrical Engineering Department (EE)

The mission of the Electrical Engineering Department is to provide quality education to prepare students who will play a significant role in shaping the future high technology environment, and to provide knowledge and skills to foster life long learning.

The department offers the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Option in Biomedical and Clinical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology
  • Certificate in Energy Conversion and Power System Engineering
  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Joint PhD in Engineering and Industrial Applied Mathematics with Claremont Graduate University

In addition to completing the core requirements, the students also specialize in one or more areas of Electrical Engineering including biomedical engineering, communications, control, electronics, digital signal processing, electronics and power systems in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. The programs prepare the students to be successful and advance in their chosen careers in industry, academia, and public institution, making significant contributions to the field of electrical engineering.
