About Classlist

You can use the Classlist to see who is enrolled in your course, check who is online, and send emails. From the Classlist tool you can also view a user's profile by clicking on their picture, read blogs (if available), and access shared locker files. If you do not see the Classlist tool on your course navigation bar, it is likely because your instructor has disabled this tool.

Note: Users are automatically enrolled into their courses every morning.

Access the Classlist tool

Click the Classlist link on your course navigation bar.

Check who's online from Classlist

The Online Status icon displays beside the names of other users who are currently online.

Send an email from Classlist

Select the check box next to the users you want to email or click "Email everyone on this tab" to email everyone in the course.
Click the email icon at the top of the list of users.
Type your Subject and Message in the appropriate fields. Click the Browse button to add an attachment, if desired.
Click Send. Emails are sent to the users' external preferred email address as set in MyCSULB.
