Psychoeducational Assessments

The Community Clinic offers psychoeducational assessments to determine a child's individual academic and cognitive strengths and weaknesses. After administering cognitive, achievement and processing tests, a written report is provided to parents with intervention recommendations based on the child’s needs, including whether or not services offered at our Clinic (e.g., tutoring and/or counseling) would be appropriate.

*Please note that the Clinic cannot provide diagnoses. Please see FAQ for more information.

  • Cost: The cost of this service is a total of $150 for 4-5 individual sessions.*
  • Ages: This service is provided for clients ages 6 to 16 years old.
  • When: Assessments are conducted once a year (March-April). For specific dates and times, please visit our "Services" page and scroll down to see our Clinic flyer.

Although we accept applications year-round, the best time to submit an application is two months before the start date of the service you are interested in. (However, please note that admittance is based on first-come, first-served basis and the level of need).
