CEEE Webinar: Creating a Sense of Belonging for STEM Students

The latest webinar by the College of Education's Center for Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness (CEEE), "Creating a Sense of Belonging for STEM Students through U.S. Department of Education-Funded Grants at Hispanic Serving Institutions," is the third in a series focused on supporting first-generation, low-income, and/or Hispanic students in STEM at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), of which CSULB is one. The latest webinar features panelists Dr. Charles Lam and Dr. Jaimi Paschal from California State University, Bakersfield, and Iqbal Atwal and Dr. Harold Stanislaw from California State University, Stanislaus. In this session, experts provided an understanding of, and strategies for, using undergraduate research and peer and faculty mentoring activities to create a sense of belonging for STEM students at HSIs.
