U.S. Passport Application Acceptance Office Opens

The U.S. Passport Application Acceptance Office at CSULB is designated by the U.S. Department of State to accept passport applications. The office is located in Brotman Hall room 250. Office hours and additional information can be found at http://passport.csulb.edu.

Distinguished Speaker Series Presents Seymour Hersh

The Division of Student Services is pleased to announce the Second Annual Distinguished Speaker Series event on Wed. Oct. 15 from 2 - 4:00 PM at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. American Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist and author Seymour Hersh is the distinguished speaker for this event. Advance tickets are $20 (students) $30 (faculty/staff), $40 (general admission) and $100 (sponsor) and may be purchased from the Carpenter Center Box Office, (562) 985-7000. Sponsor tickets include admission to a pre-event luncheon and preferred seating at the event. All profits benefit CSULB Student Scholarships. The Distinguished Speaker Series was founded by Art Levine, professor of ethics and legal studies in the College of Business Administration.

Understanding the unique characteristics, abilities and values of the newest generation of students to enter CSULB, known as the “Millennial” generation, is informative in identifying their educational and developmental needs and in framing support services to meet their needs.
