about General Education requirements, department majors, minors,
certificates and policies. It also provides academic probation and
disqualification intervention services, and assists students with
academic appeals. In addition, the AAC provides a "home base"
to all undeclared students.
Career

- Facilitates the employment process for students, alumni, and job
recruiters and is a clearing house for information vital to career
planning, internships, and job procurement.
Center for Community Engagement, (562) 985-7131, located in AS-147 - This office connects students and faculty with community organizations on service-learning projects, volunteer opportunities, and internships. They also recruit student interns for the Domestic Violence Court Resource Referral Program and JusticeCorps.

in BH-201 - Assists international students with their academic,
personal, and cultural growth and development. CIE promotes CSULB's
financial, immigration, course registration, and English language
requirements. It also provides guidance and information for U.S.
students who are interested in studying at universities outside
the United States.

- Provides programs, activities and services for use by all
students, staff, and faculty with disabilities. Services are
offered to people with permanent or temporary disabilities. Also

Educational

are directed toward assisting in the admission and retention of
low-income and first generation college students. Programs also

- The Women's Resource Center provides support for women on campus,
including assistance with both academic and personal concerns. It
also provides a comfortable lounge where students can study, chat,
or hold meetings.
Writer's
Resource Lab, (562) 985-4329, located in LAB-212. The
main goal of the Writer's Resource Lab is to assist CSULB students
in developing as writers by providing personalized writing tutorial
services. The lab's services are available to any currently
enrolled CSULB students.
