John Kleinpeter

Professor Kleinpeter began his professional career as a graphic designer in 1982. John has been teaching since 2001 and at CSULB since 2006. His professional experience includes design for identity, promotional materials, packaging, environmental graphic design, exhibit, web, television and print. John's academic research interests include graphic design in history, culture and the built environment. His research has been presented and published internationally in peer-reviewed venues. John's personal creative development interests include painting and photography. Pieces of his work have been selected for display in juried exhibitions and publications.
