CED Alumni Panel Shares Master Teacher Experience at NGEI Convening

Four College of Education recent alumni shared their experiences with the Master Teacher system as part of a panel discussion moderated by LBUSD teacher Elisa Hagen. The discussion held as part of the annual NGEI Convening at CSULB focused on the alums’ individual experiences within their specific degree or credential program, and their experiences with their Master Teachers who served as their student teaching mentors. Panelists candidly shared how vital the pairing of a Master Teacher with clinical practice was to their education, preparing them to be more effective teachers in their future classrooms. Panelists included, Chloe Calder (BA SchoolsFirst FCU UDCP), Briana Solis (MSCP), Brandie Swertlow (MSCP), and Nicholas Kertz (MSCP).
