HSI-STEM Lessons Learned

The Center for Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness (CEEE) at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is leading the CSU HSI-STEM Systemwide Research Project, which is a partnership that involves 10 California State University campuses working together to learn collectively about how best to support the success of first-generation, low-income, and/or Hispanic students in STEM at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs)

In an effort to extend the impact of the systemwide evaluation, CEEE was awarded an HSI-STEM supplemental grant from the U.S. Department of Education (Award Number: P031C160085-18A). The purpose of the CSU HSI-STEM Research, Policy, and Practice Dissemination Series is to broaden the conversation beyond California and the CSU, to share what we are learning and engage with our colleagues nationally to identify challenges, opportunities, and promising practices. The briefs, reports, modules, and webinars shared on this website are part of this effort.
