Research and Publication Interests:
Even though I am an emeritus faculty member, I still keep active in attending international conferences to present invited talks and workshops in Lasers Physics and Holography.
I have a few unfinished manuscripts for publication in physics journals. In this regard, I can help undergraduate (Physics 496) and graduate (Physics 697) students to collaborate with me for possible publications.
The title of my Millikan Award Lecture (AJP 71, 745-749, 2003) was "Global Study of the Role of Laboratory in Physics Education". I remain very much interested in studying the role of laboratory education in physics in many other countries. With the help of an educational travel grant, I can help a suitable student to explore this project in detail. This, I believe, will be an excellent way to get our students involved in international education in the area of physics education.
