50th Anniversary of Holiday Art Sale This month

Published November 27, 2017

Unique, exciting works of art created by CSULB students and faculty members are offered for sale just in time for the holidays. A wide variety of ceramic pieces, jewelry, fiber and textile art, prints and paintings, along with wood pieces, sculpture, photography and illustration are available. The sale has been an annual tradition for more than 50 years, and there is often a line outside the CSULB School of Art gallery doors prior to the start of the opening reception. This year's sale starts on Sunday, December 3 at 4pm with a simple reception for all shoppers and the artists. The sale closes at 7pm that night, and opens Monday-Wednesday from 10am-6pm, December 4-6. The CSULB School of Art galleries are located between FA2 and FA3 on the southeast side of campus, just off East Campus Drive. Paid parking is available on the weekends in Lots 7, 8 and 8A. Parking on the southeast side of campus during the week is restricted to employees and students, but shuttles are available from the university's general parking lots and structures.
