COB Scholarship

The COB scholarship application process is open at the start of the Fall Semester and the funds are awarded at the start of the Spring Semester.

GMAC Scholarship

The first-ever GMAC scholarship program for future graduate business school students! Starting September 3rd, GMAC will begin accepting applications for two scholarships, valued at $1000 and $2500. Scholarships will be awarded to current junior and senior undergraduates planning to pursue a graduate business degree.

To apply, go to and submit their resume and a 500-word essay answering the question: How can graduate business school transform and improve the world around you? We encourage students to pull from their own academic, professional, and/or volunteer background and share how that relates to their choices to pursue a graduate business degree. Graduate Research Fellowship

The fellowship is an award of $4,500 each semester. Candidates must be nominated by faculty; students may not apply directly.

  1. must be a California resident and 
  2. must meet the criteria for financial aid eligibility – must file a FAFSA by TBD in order to be considered

All materials must be forwarded to the CBA Grad Office (CBA-363) by TBD.

MBS Scholarship Essay Contest –

1. To be eligible for entry to win the $1000 MBA scholarship, you must be 18 years or older at the time of application, and currently enrolled or enrolling in a masters business program by August 31, 2019. Entrants must also be a legal resident of the 50 United States and District of Columbia.

2. Any current employees, officers, directors, and/or agents of Education Dynamics and its related companies, or members of their immediate families (defined as spouses, parents, siblings and children) and persons living at the same address, are not eligible to enter or to win. Void where prohibited.

MBA Scholarships Guide

National Founder's Graduate Business Student Scholarship

Brown, PC is now accepting applications for the firm's National Founder's Scholarship, a $500 stipend which will be awarded to a current full-time U.S. graduate business student with a demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship. The award will be paid directly to the student, and can be used for any expenses related to education, including but not limited to tuition, room, board, books, or commuting expenses.

Candidates should submit a cover letter summarizing their interest and experience in entrepreneurship to Cover letters should also include the following information:

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Street, City, State & Zip Code
  • Phone Number
  • University Name & City, State
  • Student ID
  • GPA (minimum 3.0 in graduate studies)
  • Expected Graduation Date

Candidates are encouraged to submit, along with their letter, any documents demonstrating their interest in entrepreneurship.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, August 5, 2019 and the award will be announced on Friday, August 16, 2019.

PIHRA Foundation Scholarship

As part of its commitment to the human resources community, the PIHRA Foundation annually grants scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000 to support HR professionals and students. This form is intended for use in applying for either of these grants.  
We urge you to follow the instructions carefully. Applications for the HR Student Scholarship & the HR Certification Award must be submitted no later than November 16th, 2018 to with “PIHRA FOUNDATION Scholarship Application” in the subject line. 

NOTE:  Applicants who have already completed their studies are not eligible for these programs and should not apply for a grant to cover past expenses.  Payments may be made on your behalf directly to the educational organization. PIHRA membership is encouraged, however not required. 


Port of Long Beach’s MS in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) Scholarships

The Port of Long Beach’s MS in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) Scholarships are open to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management at California State University, Long Beach.

Scholarship Awards:

Two scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded to qualified MSSCM students upon successful completion of the entire program

Southern California CSCMP Roundtable

The Southern California CSCMP Roundtable is awarding several scholarships to students in the fields of logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, and analytics. The Dave Evans Memorial Scholarship ($5,000) will be awarded to one distinguished undergraduate or graduate student. In addition, several scholarships of $2,000 each are available. For either scholarship type, students must be attending a Southern California (community) college or university (Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino or Ventura Counties).  Students should be pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in business, engineering, economics, or public policy, and have a demonstrated interest in a career in supply chain management, logistics, manufacturing, data analytics or a closely related field.
