Proposition 13 would help improve school facilities statewide

Published February 10, 2020

Proposition 13, the only statewide measure on the March 3 California primary ballot, would create a $15 billion bond to improve facilities that are disrepair on campus from kindergarten to colleges and universities. The California State University system would receive $2 billion, if approved.

This bond measure also would be used to prioritize projects that address fire and safety issues, including earthquake retrofitting.
