Testimonial of a SOAR Participant

"The SOAR experience was invaluable to me. It was a bit intimidating to come to such a large campus. Along with academic advising, the SOAR program allowed me to walk the campus with current students, get to know the different department personnel, and understand the wide variety of services available to me. Without SOAR, I probably would not have even known that some of these services existed. Thanks again for all you do to help incoming students. I would definitely recommend SOAR to all new students." —Lori Newfang, Fine Arts major, College of the Arts
