President's Commission on the Status of Women
The President’s Commission on the Status of Women serves the campus community through initiating, advocating and implementing action that addresses the concerns of CSULB women students, faculty, staff and administrators.
Our mission is to ensure that the University responds to the needs of women by removing inequities and providing a supportive educational, working and social environment for all members of the campus community. The Commission represents all University women in order to ensure that their status continues to be strengthened and enhanced.
The President's Commission on the Status of Women will hold elections in April to add one MPP (Management Personnel Plan) and two staff members to the Commission. The term of office for each category is three years, from June 2018 through May 2021. The PCSW meets from 10 a.m. to noon on the second Friday of each month during the academic year.
